We have our son a Lego Advent calendar, and gave him the gift that evening. There are "windows" that are open, the numbers 1 to 24 . . . (for each day until Christmas every window has a LEGO toys in IT) I can not remember. Did you start with the point 24 and countdown for? Or do you want to start with number 1 (as in the Dec. 1) and go up to 24?

In my family we would like to start a countdown at 24 and used at 1

Good question! I wonder the same thing! I think we are stuck in the past year on the day of the calendar, so we are always thinking about what we should be today, if we have forgotten one days. . . But this year we started back, so we count down the days until Christmas can. The children seem to be fun.
So, I guess it does not matter because you end up with the same result one way or another. And how do I get into this question, late, hopefully, have already begun!

There is a calendar of December, in essence, allowing you with the 1st to start, then open one days until the 24th.

I've always counted it backwards, but everyone does it differently,
